Port Klangs terminals at Northport and Westports and experiencing congestion. The main reasons for the situation is due to arriving vessels bunching at Port Klang, 

the situation is made worse by bad weather during the monsoon season. 

Various measures are being taken to improve the situation, including converting nearby empty space into a temporary dock.

The ships will stay in the harbor for about three days.

At present, the container yard in Port Klang is severely short of storage space, with a stockpiling rate of 95%.

It is understood that there are many reefer in the yard, and the goods cannot be picked quickly. The importer of fruits and vegetables has complained to the port.
