Product Description

Bulk cargo ship is different from container and ro-ro in that there are loading and unloading clauses. Container and ro-ro are all carried out by the owner for loading, unloading and binding. 

However, this is not necessarily the case with bulk cargo ship.

1. FIO = FREE IN FREE OUT


The shipowner is not responsible for loading, unloading, tying and bedding, which requires the freight forwarder at the port of loading and unloading to arrange the loading and unloading. Actually, the so-called agent to arrange the loading and unloading is not for us to find the workers, or to use the port's spillers and workers to work, but the people who settle the charges of loading and unloading have been replaced by the freight forwarder.


2. FILO = FREE IN LINER OUT


The shipowner is not responsible for loading, binding and packing, only for discharging. In this case, the loading and settlement is the same as the fio terms except that at the port of discharge, the shipowner is responsible for arranging the discharge and settling the discharge charge.


LIFO = LINER IN FREE OUT


Shipowner is responsible for loading, binding and packing, not discharging


4. FLT = FULL LINTER TERMS


The shipowner is responsible for loading, binding, packing and discharging
